Job description

EPCVIP is seeking a hands-on Marketing Automation Manager to lead and scale our SMS and Email marketing efforts through automation, experimentation, and data-driven insights. This role is ideal for a strategic operator who can not only define performance marketing strategies, but also execute them through no-code/low-code tools like n8n, marketing automation platforms, and vendor integrations.

You will build and optimize customer journeys, manage lifecycle messaging, and collaborate across teams to drive meaningful revenue and retention outcomes. You’ll work closely with the website UX, data pipeline, monetization, and BI teams to improve audience segmentation, sending logic, and campaign performance.

You will…

  • Own the Strategy & Execution

Define, build, and execute SMS and Email remarketing strategies focused on revenue, retention, and engagement. Be deeply involved in performance metrics like EPR (Earnings per Record), CTR, and CVR.

  • Work With Audiences & Data:

Develop sophisticated user segments, orchestrate audience logic, and refine targeting across lifecycle stages using internal data and third-party tools.

  • Automation & Tooling:

Implement automations using no-code/low-code tools like n8n, and manage workflows across ESPs, SMS platforms, CRMs, and internal systems. Set up triggers, delays, suppression logic, and cross-channel flows.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with teams across website UX, data engineering, monetization systems, and business intelligence to improve campaign relevance, timing, and revenue impact.

  • Performance Analytics & Optimization:

Monitor performance dashboards, analyze large datasets, and identify actionable opportunities for improvement. Run experiments and measure impact at scale.

  • Compliance & Vendor Oversight:

Ensure all campaigns follow TCPA/FCC/CAN-SPAM regulations. Manage vendor onboarding, testing, and compliance (e.g., SMS route testing, opt-in mechanisms, etc.).

  • Be the Channel Owner:

Act as the Product Owner for SMS and Email marketing. Own end-to-end logic — from user entry points to message cadence and content delivery.

Job requirements

Experience: 3–5 years in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or lead generation, ideally in fintech, performance marketing, or high-volume consumer funnels.

  • Tech Fluency (No Coding Required):

Comfort working with APIs, event-based automations, tracking parameters, and system integrations. No engineering skills required, but you should understand how digital products work and how data flows through them.

  • Tools & Platforms:

Experience with platforms like n8n, Twilio, Postscript, Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, or Xano. Bonus for any experience with internal workflow builders, Zapier, Segment, or CDPs.

  • Analytical Mindset:

Comfortable analyzing large datasets (Excel, SQL, Looker, etc.) and interpreting data to guide decisions and campaign improvements.

  • Compliance Knowledge:

Solid understanding of TCPA, FCC, CAN-SPAM, and mobile carrier rules for the U.S. market.

Nice if you have:

Experience in high-volume lead generation or remarketing

Familiarity with affiliate marketing flows and attribution

Ownership of revenue-driving KPIs like EPR, ROI, or lead quality

Exposure to data warehousing, ETL tools, or customer event pipelines
