We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This is a key role in strengthening our DevOps function, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient systems that directly impact the reliability of our applications and services. As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will take ownership of infrastructure management and incident response, while mentoring junior engineers and driving automation best practices.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and CloudFormation.

  • Build and refine CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment speed, quality, and reliability.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment to reduce manual processes.

  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud services across environments.

  • Optimize cloud resource utilization for performance and cost-efficiency.

  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems for proactive incident response.

  • Own AWS environments, build reusable CloudFormation templates and Terraform modules.

  • Drive security best practices and ensure compliance with infrastructure and cloud configurations.

  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and improve system reliability.

  • Take ownership of infrastructure-related incident responses, relieving developer teams.

  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers to build a high-performing team and promote skill development.

Job requirements

Requirements

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.

  • Expertise in AWS services: EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, and more.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation (IaC).

  • Proficiency in Python scripting with AWS SDK (Boto3).

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Background in monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, SNS, PagerDuty, Pingdom).

  • Strong grasp of networking, IAM policies, and AWS security best practices.

 

Skills:

  • Strong automation mindset with expertise in Python and IaC.

  • Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities in cloud environments.

  • Deep understanding of Git workflows and version control.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
